Doodhpathri is a hill town and well-liked tourist attraction in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in Jammu & Kashmir’s Budgam district. This alpine valley is blanketed in snow and features meadows of pine, fir, and deodar. Daisies, forget-me-nots, and buttercups are among the wildflowers that bloom in the spring and summer on the naturally occurring meadows that are blanketed in snow throughout the winter. The dense blanket of green grass covering the massive meadows and the silver-glistening streams cascading over the colossal stones add to its splendor. Up till Chang, Doodhpathri is a grassy, rolling terrain with a variety of brilliant flowers.To the west of Doodpathri is the well-known settlement of Tosamaidan. Road access is still necessary to enter the region at all times.Road access is still necessary for accessing the area year-round, albeit it may be difficult to get there in the busy winter months. But throughout the remainder of the year, one may complete a trip to Doodhpathri in less than a day. What you see is nature in its most unadulterated state. The lone indication of human habitation is a little settlement surrounded by herders.
Because the area is still completely undiscovered, not many people travel there. For individuals who would prefer to stay overnight, JKTDC also constructed a resort. With snow-covered mountains and a frozen lake, it’s the perfect place for winter sports like skiing. Throughout the summer, the valley is blanketed in gorgeous green grass and wildflowers. You can see the magnificent Himalayas in all of their splendor, and you can always hear birds chirping in the surrounding area. Because of the serene atmosphere and mild weather, it’s the ideal place for hiking and camping.
